BIOGRAPHY

Alessandra Amaral is an economist and consultant at GESEL-UFRJ with more than 30 years of experience in the electric sector. She has held senior executive positions at Light and Grupo Energisa, and contributed to projects in regulation and renewable energy, including green hydrogen initiatives.

Alessandra has also served as a the director at ONS, ABRADEE, APINE, and ABRACEEL, as well as on the Energy Councils of ACRJ and FIRJAN. Her leadership continues to shape innovation and strategic direction in Brazil’s energy industry.
